Certified Degree Certificate Translation Service for UKVI

You studied for years and the paper proves it, but in the UK nobody can act on it until it is in English. That is true for a visa caseworker, an admissions team, a nursing board and the office that compares your award to a British one. A certified degree certificate translation is the step that unlocks all of them.

Most people send us the award itself plus a transcript, and sometimes the module list behind it. We get diplomas from Italy, Germany, Greece, France, Spain, Romania and Turkey every week, and a fair few written in Latin, which older universities still use.

  • Grades stay as you earned them — a 1.7 or a 110 e lode is left alone, never turned into a British grade
  • Module lists welcome — transcripts and course pages are quoted with the award, not as a second job
  • Latin is no trouble — old award wording is read by someone who knows it
  • The check page goes in too — codes and links that let an office verify your paper are carried across
  • Our credentials on the page — assessors do ring to check, so the name and number are right there
  • Built for closing dates — enrolment and start dates are tight, so urgent jobs jump the queue

Who Asks For Degree Certificate Translation For UKVI Files

A degree earned abroad has to be understood before anyone can give it weight. Sometimes that is a visa office, more often it is a university or a board that lets you work. Academic papers are one of the steadiest jobs inside our UK visa translation services, and here is who sends them.

Comparing Your Award

The office that says what your degree is worth in British terms wants it in English first.

Applying To A University

Masters and second degree places, where admissions read the award and the marks behind it.

Skilled Worker Visas

Sponsors checking that the qualification really matches the job they are offering you.

Graduate Route Files

Proof of study for people staying on to work after finishing a course.

Nursing And Medical Boards

Registration with the bodies that decide whether you can practise here at all.

Trade And Site Cards

Building and engineering cards, where the training paper has to be read before one is issued.

Employer Background Checks

HR teams making sure a certificate says what a CV says it does before a start date.

Proving Your English

Degrees taught in English, sent in so a language test can be skipped.

School Papers For A Child

Reports and leaving certificates handed to a UK school when a family moves over.

Getting An Academic Certificate Translated For The Home Office

Three steps and no forms to fill in. Send the award, tell us if a transcript is going with it, and read the English copy the next morning.

1

Send the award and the marks

Most offices want both. A clear photo of the certificate is fine, but transcripts are better as the file your university sent, because the grade tables stay lined up that way.

What Must Appear On A Translated Degree For UKVI

Universities and boards are stricter here than most people expect. They want to see who did the work and be able to ring them. Every item below goes on your copy as standard, and you can look up our qualified translators before you send anything.

  • A line saying it is true and full
  • The date the work was signed off
  • The translator's name in full
  • A signature, not a typed name
  • A number an office can ring
  • The body the translator belongs to
  • Company paper with an address
  • Someone who is not you or family

Urgent Degree Translation Before An Enrolment Date Closes

Course start dates, board deadlines and job offers all have a day attached, and none of them wait. We can turn an award around in about four hours when it comes to that. Tell us the date before you pay and you will get a straight answer either way.

What Academic Certificate Translation For UKVI Will Cost

An award on its own is a small job. A four year transcript with every module listed is not. So we count what is actually on your pages. Each number below is a starting point, and the real one comes back once we have seen the file.

What affects your price Starts from Why it moves up or down
Award or full transcriptthe main one £29/ page One certificate with a name, a course and a date is quick; a grade table running over four years is a much bigger job
Module listsif you add them lower ratewith the award Course descriptions repeat the same wording again and again, so they cost far less when sent with the certificate
Age of the wordingold awards a little moreif archaic Latin awards and older university wording take a translator who has handled them before, which is a smaller pool
Language and scriptwho is free variesby pair Italian, German and Spanish are on our desk daily; Greek, Turkish, Romanian and Arabic take a named specialist
How soon you need itspeed from £0normal slot A standard slot adds nothing; a four hour job before an enrolment date means someone drops what they are doing
Who signs it offlevel from £75if sealed Universities, boards and UKVI take a signed and stamped copy; a seal is only for awards being sent overseas

Get a fixed price for your certificate

Send the award and the transcript together and one figure covers both. That price is held for the whole job, whatever else turns up inside the file.

Languages We Work In For UKVI Degree Certificate Translation

Every country marks work its own way. Germany counts down, so a low number is a good result. Italy runs to a hundred and ten with honours on top. Spain and Greece use ten. Get any of that wrong and your award looks weaker than it is. So a person who studied under that system reads yours, and our Italian to English translation team sees more transcripts than any other.

Degree Certificate Translation For UKVI, Questions Answered

Academic papers throw up their own set of worries. These are the ones people write in with once they are ready to order.

Will you turn my grade into a British one?

+
No, and you would not want us to. A translator's job is to say what the paper says, not to decide what it is worth here. Saying a mark equals a 2:1 is a judgement, and that belongs to the office that compares qualifications. Your grade goes across exactly as your university wrote it.

Do you do the transcript and the module list too?

+
Yes, and they cost less when they come with the award. Module pages repeat the same phrases over and over, so once the first few are done the rest move quickly. Send everything you have been asked for and one price covers the lot.

My certificate is in Latin. Can you still do it?

+
Yes. Older universities in Ireland, the United States and parts of Europe still hand out awards in Latin, and we have people who read it. The course title keeps the form your university uses, so it matches anything else you send in.

My university has closed or changed its name. Does that matter?

+
Not at all. We write the name that is printed on your certificate, because that is the name that was true on the day you graduated. Changing it to whatever the place is called now would make your paper harder to check, not easier.

There is a code on my certificate for checking it online. Does that go in?

+
It does, and it is worth having. Universities in Italy, Spain and Greece now print a code or a link so an office can look the award up. We carry that straight across, so whoever reads your copy can check it against the original themselves.

Will an assessor ring you to check the translation?

+
Sometimes, and it is a good sign when they do. That is why the translator's name, the body they belong to and a working number sit on the last page. We answer those calls the same day, so nothing sits in a queue because of us.

My board asked for a notarised copy. Is that different?

+
Yes, and only a few of them ask. It means a notary signs to confirm who the translator is, which is a separate step with its own fee. Send us the exact wording your board used and we will tell you plainly whether you need it or not.

My course was taught in English. Do I still need the certificate done?

+
Usually yes, because the certificate itself is normally printed in the country's own language even when the teaching was not. If part of your paper is already in English we charge only for the rest, so it works out cheaper than a full page.
