Which documents do I need to translate for a UK spouse visa?

What if there is a spelling difference between my passport and birth certificate?

This is common and easy to handle. We translate exactly what is on each document, then add a translator's note clarifying the spelling variant (e.g. "the name appears as 'Mohammed' on the passport and 'Mohammad' on the birth certificate — both refer to the same person"). UKVI accepts this approach.

Do you use machine translation or AI?
